Vows & Knots is an event and venue discovery platform operated as an AMPLR initiative. For any privacy question you can reach us at amplr.dba@gmail.com.

• Enquiry details - your name, email address, phone number, event date, guest count and the message you send us.
• Account details - if you sign in, your email address, display name and profile photo supplied by your sign-in provider.
• Verification data - one-time codes sent to your email to confirm an enquiry is genuine. Codes are short-lived and deleted after use or expiry.
• Usage data - pages viewed and search terms used, in aggregate, to understand which venues and cities are in demand.
• Content you create - saved favourites, planning tool entries, reviews and comments.

• To respond to your enquiry and share it with the venue or partner you asked about.
• To send you a confirmation of your enquiry and, where relevant, follow-up communication.
• To verify that enquiries are genuine and prevent spam or abuse.
• To operate accounts, favourites and planning tools.
• To analyse usage in aggregate so we can improve listings, search and content.

We process your details on the basis of your consent when you submit a form, and on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a secure, useful platform. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• The venue or event partner your enquiry relates to, so they can respond to you.
• Service providers who help us run the platform - hosting, database, authentication and email delivery - who process data on our instructions.
• Authorities where we are required to do so by law.

We use essential cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your theme preference, cache listings for faster loading and save your planning tool entries on your own device. See our Cookie Policy for detail.

Enquiries are retained for as long as needed to serve you and to keep a record of the request, typically up to 24 months. Verification codes expire within minutes. Account data is kept until you ask us to delete it.

Data is stored on managed infrastructure with row-level access controls, encrypted transport and restricted administrative access. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may object to certain processing. Email amplr.dba@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable period.

This site is not intended for children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

We may update this policy as the platform evolves. The date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
